The Toledo Warriors Hockey Club is in our inaugural season. The program started January 16th, 2025. The Toledo Warriors are part of the fastest growing division of disabled hockey through USA Hockey. We currently have 38 Veterans on the roster and continue to grow. The Toledo Warriors have veterans from the Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corp and Navy. We are a 501©3 tax exempt nonprofit organization with the purpose of forming a Disabled Veteran Hockey Club that uses the sport of hockey as a form of recreational therapy and camaraderie for our Veterans and their families.
Toledo Warriors Hockey Club organizes and administers an ice hockey program providing recreational therapeutic experience and education for injured and disabled U.S. military members and veterans. TWHC is organized to operate for charitable and educational purposes in conjunction on with USA Hockey's Warriors Ice Hockey Program and associated tournaments. Toledo Warriors Hockey Club encourages individuals in the Toledo area who have injuries or disabilities incurred during service in the United States armed forces to participate in the sport of ice hockey in an environment that is adapted to the level of their ability. TWHC strives to give all injured or disabled military members and veterans the opportunity to play hockey in a safe and adaptive environment, as well as to provide a place for them to form friendships and network. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an Employer Identification number of 33-3001898.
Toledo Warriors Hockey Club was founded in January of 2025. The money raised from donations like yours will go towards player equipment assistance, ice rental fees, and fees associated with local and travel charitable games or tournaments. Donation opportunities are available at levels ranging from $100 to as much as your generosity allows. Thank you for helping Veterans give back to the community and heal through hockey!
